The second of three weekend ceremonies began under cloudy skies Saturday morning, May 13, as the members of the class of 2017 followed the University faculty into the Baccalaureate Service in All Saints’ Chapel.
On Tuesday, May 9, Sewanee hosted its first-ever one-day giving challenge—#TigerTuesday—and engaged the University family around the world. The event raised an unprecedented $643,285 for the Sewanee Fund from 1,943 generous donors.
A small group of students and department faculty have begun to be more intentional about their recycling efforts. By using surplus clothing donated to the Hospitality Shop, the costume studio has begun to upcycle donated clothing.
