Behind the Scenes - Theatre Sewanee

Sewanee’s Department of Theatre & Dance and the Department of Music are joining forces to present the classic musical Cabaret in the Proctor Hill Theatre at the Tennessee Williams Center (yes, named after that Tennessee Williams, the one who left his literary estate to Sewanee), and we want to invite you behind the scenes to attend the final dress rehearsal, see how we are polishing the work, and offer you an opportunity to talk with the cast and faculty afterwards.

  • Who is invited? High school students and their parents/guardians, theatre arts teachers, college counselors. Teachers and college counselors, bring a group if you like.

Behind the Scenes - University Choir

The University Choir of All Saints' Chapel in Sewanee brings students together with a common love of music and an interest in singing, studying, and performing the finest liturgical music. The Office of Admission and the University Choir invites prospective students to learn more about choral music in Sewanee. You'll have the chance to perform with a real university travel choir, led by Sewanee's choirmaster, Geoffrey Ward.

  • Who is invited? Do you want music to be a part of your collegiate experience? This visit opportunity is for you.
  • What will I do? We will take you on a campus tour, offer an admission information session, and have Dr. Geoff Ward, the university choirmaster, give you an overview of the University Choir at All Saints' Chapel.
